This course is the first step to joining the Sake Sommelier world. Designed by the Sake Sommelier Association to provide an entry into sake education without the commitment of a longer course, the Introductory Sake Professional provides a unique opportunity for everyone to expand their sake knowledge. Whether you are a professional working in the hospitality industry, or simply a sake enthusiast, this course is for you.
You will learn about the history of sake and its cultural place, its production, the different sake designations as well as the fundamentals of sake tasting and serving.
Before the course, you will receive some pre-study material, After completion of a short test at the end of the session, you will be rewarded with a SSA certificate and a pin.
