How did a French guy end up sake sommelier in the Estonian countryside you may wonder? It's a pretty long story.
To make it short, let say that after many years working in the specialty coffee industry across England and Finland, I realised that it was time for me to take a different road. This is when sharing my passion for sake became an obvious choice.
2023 marked the real beginning of the Sake Calling project. After obtaining the SSA Sake Sommelier certification with distinction, the opportunity came to go a step further and take on the role of SSA Sake Educator for Estonia and Finland.
But there is always something to learn with sake, so why stop there, right? So I went on to successfully complete both Sake Professional and Sake Scholar certifications.
